The J-Mount® Hi Lift Jack Mount is easy to install to existing points on your Jeep and the BOLT Lock permanently learns your Jeep Key!
The J-Mount® Hi Lift Jack Mounting System allows you to vertically mount a Hi-Lift style jack on 1997 – 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and 2007 – 2017 Wrangler Jeep JK. Utilizing an otherwise unused space in front of the driver’s door. Giving you a great advantage to a common issue; lack of space.
When it comes to safety, the J-Mount keeps your jack and your back in their intended positions—vertical. Storing in a vertical position supports a more ergonomic and stress-free stance that requires less strain on your body when mounting and removing the jack. The idea of “Easy On-Easy Off” ™ was instrumental when designing this system. No tools are needed when mounting and removing the jack. All that is required is a few turns of the composite locking handle and the easy pull of three hitch pins.
Great care and attention have been given to safely securing the jack to the mounting bracket. At the end, each ISO Certified composite locking knob features a custom-designed locking feature. Designed to accept a locking hitch pin, this locking pin prevents vibration and unexpected movement that can cause the composite locking knob from becoming loose. In addition, a heavy-duty lanyard secured to the mounting bracket and a double loop hitch pin ensures the locking pin doesn’t get lost.
A typical Hi-lift style jack weighs in at around 30 pounds and requires your full attention when handling it. Other mounts require you to rotate from a resting horizontal position to a standing vertical position (i.e., bumper mount and roof rack mounts). These actions can be strenuous and may result in injury.
Mounting height is also a big factor. Mounting a 30 pound steel jack in a high position, like the roof or attached to the spare tire, is not the most practical choice. Mounting the jack in the lowest, most accessible spot is. Securing the Hi-Lift style jack along the side of the vehicle is ideal. This location does not hinder vehicle performance or restrict access to usable space within or around the truck.
